Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. Matthew 13:43

Welcome

Welcome to the

Bracadale and Duirinish Free Church of Scotland

 (Continuing)

 Website

Bracadale and Duirinish Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) is concerned first and foremost to commend the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Saviour of sinners. Its concern is to advance the Kingdom of Christ through faithful preaching of the gospel of the grace of God and faithful witness of the congregation in the area in which it is placed and beyond. In this it affirms dependence upon the quickening work of the Holy Spirit of God for effectiveness in this great spiritual task.

The Congregation is part of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing), which is Presbyterian in Church government and Evangelical and Reformed in doctrine and practice. The Church adheres to the Westminster Confession of Faith as its subordinate standard,  is committed to Biblical expository ministry and in public worship uses only the Biblical Psalms (in metrical form) without instrumental accompaniment.

The Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) claims continuity with the reformed church in Scotland, and in particular seeks to adhere faithfully to the original constitutional principles and practices of the Free Church of Scotland position in 1843 and the continuing Free Church after 1900.

Really pleased to hear the Congregation is holding up so well. The new Manse looks well and I hope Rev.Smith and his lovely family are very happy there and will stay with the Congregation for a good while, The Lord willing. Since moving away from Struan, back down to England I have not been able to find another Church anywhere so welcoming or with such a strong, devoted congregation. Rev. Smith’s sermons were hugely beneficial to me personally whilst I was there and I miss hearing him each Sabbath. Long may the Church continue at Bracadale & Duirinish. Good wishes to all my old friends there.

Wendy and I had a really special time worshipping with Calum and the congregation at Struan this morning. We were made to feel very welcome, and it was wonderful to spend time with you. We look forward to returning as soon as we can – and in the meantime pass on the warmest of greetings from Oakham Baptist Church.

Lovely to hear from you Tim and Wendy! It was our pleasure to have you worshipping with us this summer. Trust all is well with yourselves at Rutland, Leicester and that the Lord is blessing your endeavours for Him in the Congregation there.
If the Lord spares us all we look forward to seeing you again in the future.
